    Prof. Vincenzo De Feo is currently working as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Salerno, Italy, scientific disciplinary sector BIO / 15 - Pharmaceutical Biology. He is also a WHO expert for the Traditional Medicine and Medicinal Plants sector. He is working as a Head of the Post-degree School of Hospital Pharmacy and Head of the School of Herbal Medicine, University of Salerno. He had about one hundred and seventy publications in print and in publication, mainly in international magazines. Also, he had approximately one hundred and seventy abstracts for participation in international and national congresses.

    Kyle Ryan

    Professor and Director

    Professor Kyle Ryan currently serves on the Nebraska State Advisory Committee for the NSCA, the Board of Directors for the Richard P. Kimmel & Laurine Kimmel Charitable Foundation, is active in Nebraska City Rotary, and is the Director of the Peru State College Honors Program. He holds a PhD in Sport and Exercise Science with a minor is Statistical Research Methods from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from Humboldt State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Humboldt State University. Dr. Ryan is one of three faculty in the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation program at Peru State College and lead faculty for the Kinesiology major. Dr. Ryan most recently served as the director of the Children’s Health, Activity, & Nutrition Community Engagement (CHANCE) Initiative. His current research interests are athletic nutrition and rural nutritional health.

    Professor Gao-Qiang Liu is currently working as a Vice dean at the College of Life Science and Technology, Central South University of Forestry & Technology, P. R. China. He did his Ph. D. in Fermentation engineering from Jiangnan University, P. R. China. He was a visitor for academic exchange, MacMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. His main research interests are food microbiology and biotechnology, edible fungi, food safety (mycotoxins analysis and control).

    Shih-Shin Liang

    Associate Professor

    Dr. Shih-Shin Liang received his BS degree from National Taiwan University (1999, Chemistry). After compulsory military service, he worked in a private corporation (Ritdispaly corporation, 2002-2004). He then obtained his Ph.D. degree from National Cheng Kung University (2008, Chemistry). After a postdoctoral fellowship at National Cheng Kung University (2009), he was recruited as an assistant professor by the Department of Biotechnology at Kaohsiung Medical University (2011~2015). At the same time, he was also appointed as a division head at the Center for Research Resources and Development of Kaohsiung Medical University (2011~2015). He is currently as an associate professor by the Department of Biotechnology at Kaohsiung Medical University (2015~). His research effort is devoted to the modification of affinity probes for proteomic and metabolomic research and the synthesis of nano-magnetic particles for bio-separation and purification.

He is an evaluation expert in National Natural Science Foundation of China, The National Scholarship Fund, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, The National Key Research and Development Program of China, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Science and Technology Award, Beijing Senior Professional Title, China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center, Jiangsu Science and Technology Consultation etc. He is an outstanding expert of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers, including papers in Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, Reproduction, Scientific Reports, Oncotarget, Frontiers in Physiology, Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry, Gene, Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications etc.

    Professor Aaron Lerner is currently working in Aesku.Kipp Institute, Wendelsheim, Germany. B. Rappaport School of medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of technology, Haifa, Israel. After receiving his MD from the Sakler school of medicine, Tel-Aviv University (1976), Professor Lerner specialized in Pediatrics ( 1982 ), Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition ( 1984 ) and Adult Gastroenterology ( 1987). Took several senior positions as head of Department of pediatrics (1995-2005) and head of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition unit, at the Carmel Medical Center, Haifa, Israel. Finished his Medical Management degree M.H.A, at Ben- Gurion University, Beer-Sheba, Israel (1999), spent research sabbaticals in Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA, USA (1991), State University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C, U.S.A (2005) and currently, involved In scientific projects in Aesku.Kipp Institute, Wendelsheim, Germany (2014-17).

    Kwon Dae-young

    He is currently a member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology and a professor at the University of Science and Technology. Kwon has served as an adjunct professor at Sookmyung Women's University and he is a President of Korean Society of Food-Health Communication and Vice-president of Korea Society of Nutrition, Korean Society of Metabolomics, Korean Society of Food and Nutrition and Korean Forum of Fermentation and Food Culture. Kwon studied food and biotechnology at Seoul National University and received his master's and doctoral degrees in related fields from the same institution. In 1998, he began working with the institute and served as chief of the division of metabolism and functionality research. He has worked on the health effect for metabolic syndrome, anti-aging food and food culture and history. He has published more than 250 research papers in several renowned SCI international journals in the areas of ethnic foods and bioactive food components and those papers were cited about 1,000 times in SCI journals.

    Sununta Youngwanichseth is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetric-Gynecological Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand. Her research interests are diabetes and metabolic syndrome prevention and management. The focus is diabetes in pregnant women.     Dr. Jun Wang is a Professor in College of Bio-Systems Engineering and Food Science, Zhejiang University. He received his BE degree in agricultural engineering in 1986, and Doctor degree in agro-product processing engineering in 1991, respectively, from Zhejiang Agricultural University. He has been working in Zhejiang University since 1998 and has been a Professor at Zhejiang University since 1999. His main research interests are engineering properties of agro-product materials, detection food quality by electronic nose and electronic tongue, dehydration and processing of fruit and vegetable. Material properties concentrate on monitoring and inspecting fruit quality during postharvest handling, storage, and retailing. Detection by E-nose and E-tongue concentrate on design of compages of intelligent sensors and pattern recognize for food quality. Dehydration of fruit and vegetable emphasize drying processing, modeling, simulation and quality improvement by hot-air, infrared and microwave drying.

    Dr. Annalisa Serio currently working as a Confirmed Researcher (Scientific Sector F07, AGR/16) at the Faculty of Bioscience and Technology for Food, Agriculture and Environment, University of Teramo, since 2006. In 2017 she has obtained the Qualification as Associate Professor. In 2005 she achieved the Ph.D. in Food Biotechnology at the University of Bologna, Italy. Dr. Annalisa Serio interests are mainly focused on food microbiology and food safety. Her activity also involves the study of the effect of biopreserving treatment and technologies (vacuum impregnation, high homogeneization pressure, high hydrostatic pressure, etc.) on microbial phisiology and stress response.

    Prof. Bing-Huei Chen

    Distinguished Chair Professor, Fu Jen University, Taiwan.

    Prof. Bing-Huei Chen, male, food scientist, received his Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Technology, Texas A & M University, USA in 1988. His postgraduate career includes working at Fu Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan as Associate Professor from 1988–1994, Professor from 1994–2000, Distinguished Chair Professor from 2004–present, Chair of Department of Nutrition and Food Science from 1994-2000, Director of Graduate Institute of Medicine from 2006–2009, and Dean of College of Human Ecology from 2012–2015. He specializes in Lipid Chemistry, Pigment Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Food Toxicology, Functional Food Development and Biological Activity Determination as well as Nanotechnology. Until now he has published 187 research articles in internationally renowned journals and authored 11 book chapters in edited books published by International Publishers. He has received numerous awards including the prestigious outstanding research award by Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He was honored with Distinguished Professor by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China in 2015. Most importantly, Prof. Chen has developed a nano-product “Lycopene Chylomicron”, which has completed a phase III clinical trial in both Taiwan and USA in 2017 and demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of patients with prostatauxe syndrome.

    Dr. Yu-Wen Su is currently working as a research associate/research fellow at the at Sansom Institute for Health Research, School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, University of South Australia, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Before she did her PhD, She used to work as a pediatrician in Beijing New Century International Hospital and as a resident doctor in the Pediatric Department in Peking University First Hospital. Dr. Yu-Wen Su completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science, University of South Australia. Her main research interests are Biomedical Science, Bone, Growth Plate, Injury Repair, Fracture Healing, Bone Growth Defects, Neurotrophins, Growth Factors, Chemotherapy, Nutraceuticals.
